I’m an accomplished strategy, communications and policy professional with nearly 20 years of experience across multiple facets of environmental and social change campaigning and advocacy. I’ve worked on strategy, policy, research and campaigns with unions, human rights and environment NGOs, political parties, and organisations big and small operating across Europe, North America and Australia. I’ve also project-managed major web and digital systems upgrades, platform migrations and GDPR compliance in multiple jurisdictions.
I’ve long held an interest in the intersection between technological and social change. Working across every element of public campaigns and advocacy, from campaign strategy, systems, planning and execution to detailed communications and policy development has given me a uniquely broad skill-set.
Coordinating teams of more than a hundred people as well as facilitating training workshops for small groups and individuals on productivity, privacy and security, and how to make the most of digital tools enables me to slot into a team of any size.
Throughout my career I’ve written correspondence for CEOs and parliamentary representatives, book chapters and landmark speeches, I’ve overseen the development of cutting edge interactive web content, and delivered effective action and donation emails for recipient lists of hundreds of thousands of people, and had agenda-setting opinion pieces syndicated across major publications.
I can work from anywhere, and I am happy to come to you as often as needed. I am regularly based in my home office in Walyalup in Whadjuk Noongar boodjar (Fremantle, Western Australia) that I share with a moody rescued cat and a coffee machine.
